Meet CJ Blake

CJ graduated with an Honours Bachelors degree in International Studies and Modern Languages from the University of Ottawa.

Over the last few years, she has made her commitment to her community clear. She has worked as a school crossing guard (Ottawa Safety Council), as a science instructor (Mad Science), and as a camp counsellor (Sheltoons). She is also a caregiver for folks with dementia and Acquired Brain Injuries, as well as being a budding social entrepreneur.

CJ is proud to be on the Board of Directors of two non-profits, appointed Vice-President of the Zonta Club of Ottawa, and established a Client Advisory Committee as part of Bruce House leadership. Additionally, during post-secondary, CJ volunteered with the University of Ottawa's Foot Patrol, helping people walk home safely at night. What a rewarding experience!

Always the first to volunteer for a new role, she makes community connections effortlessly because of this willingness to step up and say "Yes". She looks forward to putting her network and skills to work for you, your children -- and our future.
